The Post-Natural Landscape is a recontextualised documentary series examining a world after the natural environment has vanished. In this world, what become the markers of the natural world, what is the sublime? What does landscape photography become? The viewer is positioned as an inhabitant of a dystopian world in which nature has been entirely destroyed.
The series collects simulations of nature in urban and suburban environments, regularly used within advertising, or as facades to deter unwanted attention. It is often used in spaces where the natural world has been removed.
